Photographer / Yuta Fukuda
Photographer based in London.
Born in Tokyo in 1979, Yuta Fukuda began photography at
the age of 14, influenced by his father, who was a professional photographer. After gaining experience working in studios and as an assistant photographer, he started his freelance career in Tokyo in 2005.
In 2006, he founded Essence Entertainment Ltd., where he worked across fashion, beauty and advertising, producing still photography, video production and editing, catalogue production and web content. He also created opening films for fashion shows such as Tokyo Collection.
In 2012, he relocated his production base to London and obtained UK permanent residency in 2020. He now works between London and Tokyo, specialising in commercial photography including restaurant and retail photography, interior photography, brand imagery and event photography.
His current clients include Shaftesbury Capital, which operates the Covent Garden and Carnaby London districts, Japan House London, one of the largest Japanese cultural retail spaces in London, and the international publishing house Thames & Hudson. His work spans advertising, PR, web and publishing projects.
Through his photography, he aims to capture atmosphere, space and the identity of a brand using natural light and perspective.
His dream is to one day photograph the Earth from space.

You will receive all images taken, with colour adjustments applied.
The files will be provided via download in two formats:
high-resolution images for archiving, and lightweight versions suitable for social media use.
Payment
An invoice will be issued upon delivery.
Payment is requested within one month by bank transfer.
If preferred, cash payment on the day of the shoot is also possible.
